I purchased this at regular price for my HP laptop and it was a perfect fit. It charges my laptop great. I loved that it is an original HP adapter so I felt safe plugging it in and using. It did not get excessively hot while plugged in. I only wish it was longer. The original charger that came with my laptop was definitely longer. The part of the charger that plugs into the adapter then into your laptop is the part that is shorter. However, for me it still worked great since I have a plugin really close to where I sit to use my laptop. I would definitely buy this charger again.
