This is the second of this item that I had to order. The first one, that was returned, didn't do anything well. It failed to charge the laptop battery, and ever 10 minutes or so would just stop working. The laptop would then shut down immediately, as the charger didn't charge the battery. I returned that itam and ordered a different one. The new charger works perfectly as expected. The cord is a bit shorter than what I would desire, but I still highly recommend this charger.
