Skilled person that I am, I lost the power cord to my new laptop the day I got it. For a year, I was able to get by using another HP power charger, but it never charged the battery. And then that "solution" stopped working altogether. I wasn't ready to give up on my laptop! I found this charger to replace my charger that died recently. The charger is very similar to factory in terms of function and looks. I plugged it into my laptop and she started charging no problems.
