3rd party power chargers are one of those things that can be hard to compare online. They will likely work, but will they really deliver the right charge or will they be prone to overheating (or worse)? No worries with this one. I've had mine for several months, using it almost daily, and it has performed perfectly. The "brick" never feels even warm to the touch. The plug fits perfectly into the Chromebook, exactly like the original charger. And I have really enjoyed the added length of the power cord. This is a bit heavier than the manufacturer's original power charger, but the added cord length is worth it when I'm travelling.
