I got thI'd cord because my old cord pooped out on me. I have a Asus laptop, and it works great. My battery life lasts alot longer, and it charges fast. The cord is perfect length for when I'm sitting in my living room and the cord needs to stretch a bit to reach an outlet. Or I can shorten the cord by the velcro piece that helps bundle the cord, for when I'm at my desk and I don't want people to trip over my cord laying across the floor.
